We hate it when an otherwise peaceful moment is ruined by a loud cellphone ring, especially when it’s some an annoying pre-loaded tone. That’s why today’s 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway is a soothing ringtone we recorded while filming in the jungles of Costa Rica.
The Second Day of Christmas is a bit of a religious mash-up, but bear with us. We had the chance to do some shooting in Thailand earlier this year, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit Bangkok’s famous Reclining Buddha. This golden Buddha is depicted laying on his side and is HUGE, sitting nearly 50 feet high over 140 feet long. Since it’s quite a challenge to photograph the Reclining Buddha all at once, we took a few close-ups and ended up with one of our favorite photo textures of the year.

We’ve been filming on location in South East Asia for a while, and if there’s one thing you can’t escape here (besides the karaoke) it’s the seafood. We’ve seen fresh fish markets selling everything from tuna and puffer fish to Krakens and Mer-people.
