Myrtle explains, “Wall diving has great visibility to conduct a fish visual census. I always look forward to seeing new species of fish. On this trip alone, I saw two or three new species of fish for the first time.” Myrtle has been making a directory of fish species, and found a total of 29 different species of fish, including the butterfly fish – a consensus indicator of this being a healthy reef.
