Later on that morning, Peace Corps and ISeahorse volunteer, Vicky Carberry prepared her gear for the next dive. Vicky is looking even further into the future, “Anda’s tourism will probably expand in the next couple of years. They are lucky that the black market for seahorses hasn’t reached here because there are still so many Pigmy Seahorses. If we can steer the community towards Eco-tourism, using iSeahorse as a flagship species, this could become a sanctuary for seahorses.”
